He is a really great teacher, and very personable. Makes you feel really comfortable and will answer any questions you have. He likes to make jokes to. Ok now to get down to business. His exams are difficult. You have to go to SI sessions and read the book and study really difficult to get a great grade in his class. Would highly recommend though!!
Really difficult class! The class only meets once a week and their is a lot to be covered in a short amount of time. The grade is composed of 2 exams worth 50 points each. One exam-75 points. muscle project-50 points. dissection grade-20 points(cat). 3 tests each 10 points. Open review three times a week- not really accommodating, gets very crowed.
Mike is a really friendly guy and very accommodating. He lets you come in during office hours and wants you to do well in his class. the class is really difficult, but that should be expected. he does help but he does let you know that alot of people will drop
Really difficult class. On the first day he lets you know that half of the people will drop out by October. Each class has about 50, and about 25 leave. The grade is composed of 5 exams and 6 tests. Exams 1-4 are worth 60% of the final grade and Exam is worth 30%. The six tests make up 10% of the final grade.Reallly difficult, just take another prof.

outstanding guy, really hillarious, knew how to make class interesteing. You might hear people complain about him but thats only because people didn't want to put it the effort to study and they chose to blame him for their bad grade. Really knows his things and he makes the exams for the lab courses so he will tell you exactly how the exam
Mike is an outstanding guy. He kept lab entertaining so time flew by each class. He is more than willing to help students who are willing to put in the time to succeed. The class is well outlined. The exams weren't bad but again you have to put in the time to study. hillarious guy and really wants you to succeed. Take him if you can!
Enjoyed the class & the way that it was taught. He expects a lot from his students, but he also doesn't try to trick you or mislead. It is very clear how your grade is calculated & what you are expected to know. I really enjoy his class!

I had Mike for A&P lecture & lab. His lecture class is ridiculously difficult. If you want to do well, you need to make A&P your life! His power points are very clear and organized. Lab was much easier w/less material to know. If you study and go into open labs, you'll do well. He's a fun guy, but has very high expectations.
Mike is a great guy who really wants his students to do well. Be warned though his class is very very difficult but you will learn the material and be better off second semester. I enjoyed his class even though I had many late nights studying for this class. Go see him for help because he is always open to help students. Really Recommend great prof
Do not take this prof. for A&P 140 Lecture. He is ridiculously difficult and doesn't care about helping you at all. I would go to his office hours and leave without a single one of my questions answered. He thinks it's hillarious when people fail and doesn't like answering questions.
if there was a Fo-shizzle meter on a scale from 1 to 10 i would give him a 13!!!! oh yeah, uh huh. i went there. |
